The Board of License and Inspection Review was created to serve as an appeals board for decision made by the City's license officer. Parties who feel that the city made the incorrect decision related to a license or permit can appeal those decisions to this body in an effort to have them overturned or amended.
All appointees and sitting Board members shall be residents of the City of Pittsburgh, and at least two (2) members shall have experience working with community advocacy groups or community development corporations, and at least one (1) member shall have two (2) or more years' experience working in business licensing and building code inspections.
