The Office of Mayor William Peduto is looking for citizens interested in serving on the Disruptive Property Appeals Board.
The Disruptive Property Appeals Board meets once a month to hear appeals to the decision of the Public Safety Director to designate Disruptive Properties per city code. A disruptive property is one that has repeated calls for municipal public safety service in a short period of time and is thereafter designated to be charged a fee for calls for such services in the future. Board members must be residents of the City of Pittsburgh and at least one board member must be a current rental property owner or rental property manager in the City of Pittsburgh. Board members serve without compensation.
